That I am the kind of person who will buy a pretty apron in an attempt to wear it as a skirt.
That I remember a remarkable amount of tangential historical facts and can use them in conversation
That I admit when I am wrong
That I want people to like me
I will do anything for a friend
I wear clothing to make myself feel like my best self
I wear things like yellow pants because I want to brighten people’s day
I will laugh so hard I spurt liquid out of my nose
I will laugh so hard that I fall off of chairs in the middle of board meetings
I am not afraid of being strange
I have wonderful dreams and the ability to achieve them once they rise to the surface
I will always make myself look silly
I am not afraid to be clumsy
I am happy to be graceful
I will take that risk— in a dance class or otherwise
When I have work that I love I give it everything
I am on a life-long quest for knowledge
I know that some of the best times can be had with a deck of cards, a made up game, (cau robat,) and good friends.
What a great day.
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

My mom wasn’t too sure about me being an actor at first. She said, ‘Okay, but if you haven’t had the break after a few years, you have to be able to pull out.’ I couldn’t call her in five years’ time and say, ‘Could you pay my rent?’ Three months before I got The Office, I was on the phone to her, saying I was thinking of getting out because my friends were doing well and I was going nowhere. She said, ‘Never base it on your friends. Give it another shot.
